Why Not Have Coffee For Dinner?
Post Sponsored by Onyx Coffee Lab
Nothing can beat a good cup of joe. It is the first thing we crave when we wake up and its the last thing we set down at school/work. Coffee is our go-to when we need a pick-me-up.
But did you know it can enhance your steak?
Yes, adding a little bit of coffee to your steak can create a flavor profile you might have never experienced before! With its earthy & cocoa notes, coffee can make any steak feel like that warm cup that wakes you up in the morning.
So, how do we do it?
Well, first you need to create my Sweet Chile Coffee Steak Rub below. Add this dry rub to any steak (preferably a NY Strip) and it will blow your mind. Indulge in the juiciness of the meat and the aroma of the coffee, and you will find yourself being awoken to a new flavor of life.
Yields: 4-5 Servings
Prep: 15 minutes
Duration: Rub will last for about a month in a cool space.
